From the greats

What the greats say about practice

Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing.
PeléBrazil · 3× World Cup winner
Talent is useless without hard work.
Cristiano RonaldoFrance Football interview, 2019
Repetition creates habits. It brings that instinct.
Thierry HenrySpeaking to young players, 2026
Technique is not being able to juggle a ball 1,000 times. Anyone can do that by practising. Technique is passing the ball with one touch, with the right speed, at the right foot of your teammate.
Johan CruyffAjax, Barcelona, Netherlands
You keep raising the bar, and therefore it's never good enough.
Dennis BergkampStillness and Speed
